Salt Lake City, UT – Today, the nonprofit organization, ABU Education Fund, has announced a name change. The organization under its new name, Better Utah Institute, will continue to deliver the same quality of debates, panels, and reports that the organization has become known for.

Chase Thomas, Better Utah Institute executive director, said, “We will continue forward in the same manner and with the same zeal for civic engagement as we always have. We look forward to the next phase of the organization’s life and are excited to maintain our programs that educate the Utah public and hopefully increase their enthusiasm for civic engagement.”

The name change will take effect on September 1, 2019.


The Better Utah Institute, formerly the ABU Education Fund, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a strong, educational voice by creating resources that advance civic engagement and good governance. For more information, visit their website here.
