Salt Lake City, UT – A coalition including labor, environmental groups, and local community advocates will hold a press conference to present a vision statement for the 2030 Olympics. The Utah Community Benefit Coalition was created out of excitement surrounding Salt Lake City’s proposed 2030 bid, and a desire to help a future Salt Lake Olympic and Paralympic Games be the very best they can be. Utah has the opportunity to raise the bar for how an Olympic Games can be run and in doing so, create positive impacts across our communities.

A few coalition members, including Crossroads Urban Center, Westside Coalition, HEAL Utah, and Utah Building Trades will speak to how a community benefits agreement addressing specific community issues can help make Salt Lake City’s Olympic bid even stronger.

An embargoed copy of the vision statement can be found here.
